Role Overview: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) serves three primary roles: it is the world's leading presenter of superb artistic programming, is a national leader in arts education and community relations, and functions as the manager of the Lincoln Center campus, which is home to 11 separate resident organizations. LCPA presents over 350 performances annually throughout our different performance series.
Guest Experience Coat Check Representatives are the welcoming faces of Lincoln Center and provide coat check services at both David Geffen Hall and Alice Tully Hall. Located at the Venue Coat Check counter, Coat Check Reps greet guests and offer item storage to guests in exchange for a fee. It is important Guest Experience Coat Check Reps always model Lincoln Center's three Guest Experience Principles: Inclusive, Engaged and Distinct.

You'll be a great fit if you can perform the following:
- Greet guests attending events presented by Lincoln Center.
- Ensure all guests are offered coat or item check upon request
- Exemplify excellent customer care characteristics in all interactions with guests, and fellow co-workers.
- Manage, organize and store guest items
- Use credit card processing devices to collect guest payment
- Provide accurate information about an event or venue upon request, including directions, program or constituent organizations.
- Notify management and/or Security of any emergency situations immediately as they occur.
You'll Be a great fit if you have the following:
- Proven customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability is a must, including being able to work during matinee, evening, and weekend performances.
- Ability to stand for varying periods of time; such requirements to be met either with or without reasonable accommodation.
