Description
Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LMRe) is looking for a Technical Assistant (TA) to join the Operations Department. Are you a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail? As a TA, you play a crucial role by collecting, coordinating, and analyzing information. You'll maintain records, verify data, and provide essential administrative support to the US region. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to serve and support various teams, including Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial and Accounting.

This is a remote position. You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within 50 miles of one of the following offices: Boston, MA; Stamford, CT. Please note this policy is subject to change.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support by reviewing and categorizing incoming emails, maintaining and organizing records, and ensuring the precision and completeness of document uploads, data entry, and inquiries.
  • Monitor incoming claims and broker reporting to identify workflow bottlenecks and enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collect, coordinate, and verify information needed by staff, including obtaining data from automated systems, reviewing claims, and preparing correspondences.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal and external contacts by handling inquiries, resolving problems through research and collaboration, and recommending enhancements for workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
  • Solid writing skills and the ability to work accurately with numbers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Broad working knowledge of departments operations and objectives.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications and systems which may include excel, desktop publishing, and department specific systems/applications.
  • Associates degree or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of related office administrative work experience with at least 1 year of practical computer experience.
  • Additional experience may be substituted for lack of formal degree.
