The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description
We are looking for a talented, motivated & data driven media specialist to join Liberty Mutual Insurance's in-house Media team, Bedloe, specializing in Paid Search execution and analytics. This team member will be accountable for daily tracking, performance optimization, and monthly budgeting as well as driving forward our team's key strategic priorities. Candidates must be comfortable working in a rapidly evolving space with complex data, be capable of creating & articulating a defensible point of view and be proficient when implementing, optimizing, and measuring campaigns directly with internal and external partners.

Ideal candidate will be located in the Boston, MA area.

Your background and qualifications will be evaluated against the skills and experiences required for the position and may be filled as:
  • Media Specialist: $73,700 to $115,800. Annual Flexible Time Off Days: 15
  • Senior Media Specialist: $90,000 to $146,700. Annual Flexible Time Off Days: 20
In this role you will:
  • Be a core member of Liberty Mutual's in-house media buying team and partner with peers to develop holistic media execution across Paid Search. Manage, monitor, and optimize various accounts and provide strategic insights to improve efficiencies and increase scale.
  • Own Monthly/Weekly/Daily campaign performance tracking, budget management, and key KPI tracking. Ensure targeting and bidding strategies support larger tactic goals. Pro-actively analyze data and recommend & implement sophisticated campaign optimizations.
  • Build relationships and collaborate effectively across key internal and external stakeholders, including creative, channel, modeling, and platform partners (i.e. Google, Bing, etc.).
  • Utilize a variety of tools and sources to conduct analyses that will inform media optimizations and quantify business value of campaigns and present findings to leadership.
  • Build subject matter expertise in a rapidly evolving space and seek out new and creative opportunities to grow and optimize overall marketing spend.
Qualifications
  • Highly effective planning, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, decision making, and communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency using data sources/querying tools (SAS/SQL, Excel, Power BI).
  • Understands key media metrics and a disciplined approach to testing and running pilots.
  • Understanding of insurance business KPIs.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant marketing tools and data sources.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience to include deploying successful media campaigns
  • Preferred but not required experience working in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
