The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

The Personal Lines Auto Design and Delivery team is on the lookout for a visionary Senior Director to lead our Delivery and Enhancements Teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Auto Product Development and Delivery, you will be a pivotal strategic leader, driving initiatives that directly contribute to the profitability and growth goals of USRM.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to shape innovative auto pricing programs and enhancements, crafting a robust strategy to bring these offerings to the market swiftly and effectively. Your commitment to operational excellence will be crucial as you manage a talented team of 4 direct reports and oversee a larger team of 40+ dedicated professionals, all working to define product scope and ensure compliance with state regulations.
As a thought leader, you will play an integral role in envisioning the future landscape of auto product delivery, positioning us at the forefront of the industry. Your exceptional communication skills will empower you to foster alignment across teams, navigate complex tradeoff decisions, and clarify our delivery ecosystem.

- Deliver Auto rating programs into the market (Omega 3, Omega 3+, AMR 3, AMR 3+, One Auto)
- Prioritize and delivery Auto rating program enhancements into the market (telematics, discount & rule updates)
- Develop a clear roadmap for delivery cadence into market with rationale behind path forward
- Drive team engagement and develop best in class talent and talent pipeline
- Be an expert in auto rating programs for USRM
- Partner across the delivery ecosystem (Product, USDS, IT, Experience, Distribution, etc.)
- Highly developed quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence other leaders across an organization 10+ years progressively responsible work experience in an analytically driven environment
- Previous experience in consulting or call center / customer service analytics in insurance or financial services preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in quantitative field preferred
- Experience leading and motivating a team helping to align goals, develop objective transparency, and drive strong execution
- Foundational knowledge of our Auto product, rating programs, and understanding of how these fit into USRM goals
- A desire to make a tangible impact to USRM both immediately and into the future with One Auto partnership
- Strong project management skills - this work involves many moving pieces across teams, hand offs, and coordination
- Interest in a fact paced environment with shifting priorities
- Knowledge of how to develop both repeatable and creative solutions to recurring and unique problems
- Understanding of how to influence and communicate with Senior Leaders
