Pay Philosophy
The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description
As the leader of the Agent Solutions and Enablement (ASE) team, you have direct influence on scaling Liberty's agency operations and Non-Traditional Revenue (NTR) including with Comparion (the industry's largest personal lines independent agency) and Direct Choice (our capability to maximize customer economic outcomes in our Direct channel). You will be responsible for setting the vision and executing the strategy to optimize our agent technology, work-flow tools, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with distribution leaders, frontline agents and service reps to gather feedback to continually enhance and optimize our technology solutions. Additionally, you will partner closely with internal partners in IT, Experience and Data Strategy and with external service providers on and off-shore to deliver efficient data, reporting and operational support.

Responsibilities:
  • Sets strategic and operational vision for our Agent Technology infrastructure, including newly implemented core systems of record (Applied Epic Agency Management System) and soon-to-be-implemented Compensation Admin system (SAP).
  • Directs the daily transactional upload/download process with ~75 external partners to ensure sales transactions are captured completely, accurately, and timely.
  • Implements standard operational solutions working with 3 rd party outsourcing providers (e.g. off-shore, near-shore, and/or onshore) to enable efficient scaling of operations.
  • Leads a team to use best practices and iterative testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Leads a team in designing and developing data solutions that enables effective self-service data consumption.
  • Partners with Agent Experience, Experience, IT, & Data Office to build and implement technical roadmap in support of partner needs.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to identify and define metrics that are impactful to the business and implement solutions to deliver, including user-friendly dashboards.
  • Partners closely with Global Data Office to optimize data provisioning tools, processes, and resources.
  • Ensures the team effectively transfers knowledge via documentation and process management.
  • Has an expert understanding of complex multi-tier, multi-platform systems, and applies principles of metadata, lineage, business definitions, compliance, and data security to project work.
  • Guides the definition and implementation of proof-of-concept data solutions to support the organizations strategy by working with their team or IT to scale and institutionalize proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Able to lead through and implement change across the organization.
  • Able to manage projects and influence stakeholders to ensure effective project execution, balancing risk and business need.
  • Able to identify stakeholder and customer pain points and strategically address those concerns.
  • Able to describe value and influence the prioritization of technology and data solutions.
  • Able to organize and balance resources to address customer pain points.
  • Acts as a technical resource and mentor for staff.
Qualifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting or Accounting systems, or related discipline preferred
  • Masters in same or related disciplines strongly preferred
  • 15+ years experience with top quadrant Business Intelligence tools
