We are searching for an Occupational Health Nurse Consultant to join our UPS Dedicated Team in Chicago, IL. We will consider other locations in the Central or Western Portion of the United States that provides convenient air travel for the right candidate. This is a unique position aligned with the client Occupational Health function, Health & Safety and is part of Risk Control Dedicated Occupational Health Services team. The OH Team specializes in providing practical industry expertise, leadership, and consultative guidance to strengthen the customer's Wellness Program. The position acts as a resource to other internal Risk Control consultants working in collaboration with the client to reduce losses from shoulder, knee, back and ankle injuries at focus locations. The position does require travel up to 50% to client locations.

Please Note: This position is eligible to be hired at different levels depending on experience. The hire must reside near a major airport.

Responsibilities:
  • Account Service: Work with UPS management and employees to provide comprehensive and highly sophisticated Occupational Health consultative services. Conduct on-site evaluations, evaluate data, and create/implement service plans to control customer's source of risk related to ankle, back, knee and shoulder losses and costs. Provide training, materials and coaching regarding improving overall health of UPS employees and demonstrates the value of doing business with Liberty Mutual.

Qualifications
  • BS in Nursing, accreditation as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of 5 years of directly related consulting experience.
  • Working towards, or obtained an advanced degree and/or professional certification: CCM, COHN-S
  • Proven ability to consult with, form relationships and influence all levels of an organization.
  • Successful demonstration of technical skills in areas of risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management, and progress measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve and enter information using various proprietary software applications and create/modify documents and complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Position requires regular travel.
