The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Our Neurodiversity Internship Program is designed for students who identify as neurodivergent, which includes Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD).

Analytics - Boston, MA
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions that can impact business decisions at one of the leading property and casualty insurance companies in the country.
- Work individually and as part of a team to gather and analyze data using qualitative and quantitative methods-all while you enhance your skills and refine your business acumen in the insurance industry.
- Participate in a curated training curriculum to enhance your analytical and technical skills.
- Grow your knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products across a wide variety of disciplines, such as reserving, pricing, modeling, and analytics. Gain hands-on experience with various analyses, such as the preparation of rate level indications, and attend formal trainings to learn critical actuarial concepts. Solve challenging business problems and support business needs with data analysis and insight.
- Learn the tips of the trade from some of the best actuaries in the industry through hands-on experience and technical training. After completing the internship, you will have stronger business skills and technical acumen.
- Assimilate in our tech teams as we seek technology-based solutions-together-to improve the customer experience.
- Focus on a specific project - from customer-facing mobile apps to slick back-end solutions - and gain exposure to emerging technologies and tech languages.
- Learn and grow your skills in the spirit of collaboration. Our teams work closely in all aspects of tech development-from writing user stories to backlog grooming to sprint planning.
What you've got:
- You are a college sophomore, junior or graduate student working toward a bachelor's degree
- You self-identify as members of the neurodivergent community
- You can commit to a full-time 11-week program
- You have permanent work authorization in the United States
- You exhibit strong analytical skills and effective communication skills
- For technology-aligned interns, fluency in at least one or more software development languages is required
This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.
