This role has a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite) and we are considering candidates based in Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, Plano, TX, Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH.

Job Introduction:

The Talent and Enterprise Services Technology organization is looking to hire a Configuration Engineer to their IT Configures squad. You will be part of a highly collaborative and high performing Agile configuration engineer squad where under limited supervision, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting products for Enterprise Transformation Solutions. These products support Procurement, Enterprise Security, Business Continuity, Real Estate, Workplace Services and Aviation.

About the job:
  • Execute moderately complex configurations of a single module according to defined design specifications, demonstrating a proficient understanding of transactions and major configuration options for business processes.
  • Analyze and prepare technology-enabled recommendations to address moderate to complex gaps within a single business process.
  • Identify and document moderate to complex functional and technical requirements, including gap analysis, infrastructure needs, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Develop and execute moderate to complex test scripts to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Identify and research moderate to complex testing defects, providing solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Support various aspects of the implementation process, including post-implementation support, cutover planning, and transition planning.
  • Ideally, leverage your previous experience in supporting and configuring multiple applications to enhance project success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Configuration Engineer experience.
  • Background in Ansible preferred.
  • Proven experience with supporting a high number of applications.
  • Strong focus on operational excellence in production support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong collaborative communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
