The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
This position is responsible for regulatory reporting processes in a deadline focused environment. This role will work with our offshore partners to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely. Provides reporting and compliance support internally and to external regulatory agencies. Identifies and researches variances and works to resolve issues as they arise. Presents findings to Manager. Actively participates to continuously improve processes to ensure work is performed in the fastest, most efficient means possible.

Responsibilities:
- Supports and reviews the accurate and timely completion of reporting requirements for the Corporate Regulatory Team to a variety of regulatory agencies including but not limited to ISO, TICO, CAR and AAIS.
- Supports accounting, financial, and statistical analysis. Prepares reports efficiently and effectively.
- Develops, documents and performs internal control procedures to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
- Understands how data flows through our source systems and into our reporting process and how it correlates to our financial systems in order to identify issues and take action to address them.
- Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, making suggestions for improvements and collaborating with others in implementing them.
- Actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Reviews and approves work from offshore team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
- Responsible for maintaining team's mailbox and supporting tools.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additional requirements may apply.
- You must have permanent work authorization in the United States
- A fast-paced work environment
- Possess the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with technical programs, including MS Office Suite and a strong working knowledge of Excel
