The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Liberty Mutual is seeking an experienced analytics professional to join the Customer Response Center (CRC) Analytics team within the US Retail Market's Insights & Solutions organization. The creative problem solvers in Liberty Mutual's Insights & Solutions group harness the power of data, analytics and technology to develop innovative solutions that drive our US Retail Markets business forward and support a high-performing culture. This group brings together highly talented thinkers and doers ready to challenge the status quo and make an impact. As a member of this cross-functional group, you'll collaborate with teams across Liberty Mutual to deliver analysis that unlocks insights and sparks new, better ways of working.

CRC is the largest service group within Liberty Mutual US Retail Market services. It drives value by efficiently and consistently resolving customer needs through digital self-service, vendor partners, and high-performing workforce.
This role will use operational, customer, and policy data to drive analysis and make actionable recommendations to achieve CRC business goals in three dimensions: customer retention, cross-sell growth, and service productivity enhancement.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and technical skills (SQL/SAS) who can foster strong stakeholder relationships.
This role may have in-office requirements based on candidate location.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively create analytical insights to break down complex problems and develop actionable recommendations based on data
- Deliver insights and recommendation to stakeholders to influence strategy (such as vendor outsourcing strategy) and operational (such as KPI improvement) decisions
- Partner with stakeholders including Finance, Capacity & Forecasting, and Modeling teams to ensure aligned planning and clear downstream impact
- Design, monitor and measure A/B test to support initiatives launch
- Identify opportunities and implement process improvement or automation, leveraging tools such as AI or PBI etc
- Mentor junior analysts and support team culture and development
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or any other quantitative field plus a minimum 5 years of applied business / non-academic experience preferred.
- For non-Master s Degree candidates, Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of applied business/non-academic experience, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of developing and applying modeling to business problems. Deep knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers.
- Ability to apply more advanced analytical concepts to improve business outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
- SQL experience required, Experience with Snowflake, preferred
- Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
