In this role, you will be responsible for developing and distributing thought leadership content, collaborating with industry experts to harness research insights, and promoting our content through various channels. Additionally, you will manage editorial calendars, draft video scripts, and monitor metrics to ensure we attain the highest Share of Voice in agent-focused trade media.

Description of the role:
  • This role is responsible for positioning Liberty Mutual as the Carrier Champion of the Independent Agent within industry trade publications.
  • Writes and disseminates thought leadership content on AgentfortheF f uture.com and to industry trade publications.
  • Collaborates with the thought leadership team to leverage annual research studies on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging issues to produce high-quality thought leadership content.
  • Conducts interviews with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather information and perspectives for content creation.
  • Partners with subject matter experts to develop topics and draft byline articles.
  • Promotes thought leadership content through various channels, such as social media and email campaigns.
  • Drafts video scripts, speaking submissions and award applications, as needed.
  • Maintains a monthly metrics dashboard to ensure the team is tracking towards achieving the #1 Share of Voice in agent-focused trade media.
  • Produces a monthly internal email newsletter for executives, highlighting company and industry press coverage.
  • Manages the monthly editorial calendar opportunities and conducts outreach to targeted publications.
Qualifications:
  • Background in journalism or public relations preferred.
  • Deep understanding of independent agency system required.
  • Proven track record of securing media placements and creating engaging content that drives agent engagement.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and PR strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, Salesforce reporting and digital marketing tools is a plus.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a marketing driven organization
  • Requires advanced knowledge of marketing communications principles and practices
  • Experience working with and/or managing outside agencies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technologies
  • Strong organizational, coordination, project management, and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Budget management and project management experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proactively seeks to learn and apply new tactics and job skills to enhance current role and improve broader teams performance
  • Demonstrates understanding of insurance industry, products, services, and trends
  • Actively seeks to expand and integrate marketing knowledge and skills into recommendations, as well as function responsibilities and the connection to the broader organization
