Description and Requirements
This position will be a pivotal part of Lenovo's direct business reporting into the Worldwide services & solutions group director. The technology enablement Lead is a senior position and will be responsible for enabling technology on Lenovo web platform that sells SSG product offerings to end customers. This will include direct participation in our new product introduction (NPI) program as well as building new IT capability/ enhancement to provide better customer experience/product offering/conversion. In this role, you will work closely with leadership, product managers, IT, marketing leads, UX leads etc., to ensure you are identifying gaps in current enablement and delivering high impact enablement to fill the gaps. You will also be responsible for creating enablement for new products and measuring its success. You will need to develop and maintain a firm understanding of our end customers, cloud partners such as Microsoft etc., DAAS partners and the needs of our services & solutions group so that you can properly identify what is relevant for web/ecommerce's to be enabled.
Your Responsibilities:
- Envisage & deliver yearly plan for web IT enhancement pertaining to services & solutions group.
- Enhance customer experience for the web
- Build web capability for sustainability, 'everything-as-a-service', web recommendation engine/User interface.
- Responsible for utilizing web budget for the year
- Build Services and Solutions capability for web in conjunction with IT for product releases, business initiatives, Tools & processes impacting success for worldwide Ecommerce Services and Solutions
- Create an enablement framework and execute to build or enhance existing IT capability for web.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple and diverse teams.
- Lead content /epic creation working closely with GPO, BPO , product teams, UX /UI teams & IT teams. This role will not be expected to develop enablement content in detail, but should be capable in pursuing answers independently, technical skill to contribute and review the effectiveness of enablement material.
- Drive cross-functional readiness programs, host and assist on delivering IT capability or enhancement.
- Manage project timelines to generate high impact enablement and ensuring IT budget utilization for Ecom SSG web
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with IT & Ecom IT enablement leadership team to prioritize enablement initiatives.
- Develop post-launch follow-up mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of the enablement content and programs.
- Represent the Ecom SSG team in New Product Introduction reviews. You should be able to identify risk areas and gaps in enablement and then communicate effectively to ensure that the risks are addressed.
- Define and track release readiness/enablement KPIs and periodically evaluate programs based on feedback and KPIs.
