Description and Requirements

The Cloud and Software Technical Partner Manager will lead and own the technical relationship between Lenovo and a strategic OS partner.

As a Technical Partner Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the technical interface between the partner and Lenovo hardware business unit (BU).
  • Understanding the strategy for the Lenovo BU and communicating to the partner, facilitating technical and business discussions, centered around achieving Lenovo's BU goals.
  • Developing and fostering a relationship with the partner.
  • Working across BUs to achieve a common goal.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Lenovo and trusted advisor who will influence the partners direction.
  • Identifying opportunities for further collaboration between Lenovo and the partner that aligns with Lenovo's business goals

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering disciplines (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in partner management, business development, in the software/technology industry or related experience
  • Strong critical thinking, influencing, and relationship management skills

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering disciplines (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in business and technical interaction with C-level business decision makers.
    Demonstrated passion for Customer Experience and acting as an advocate for customers
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken; prior experience working for a global company a plus
