Description and Requirements
What You'll Do
The Asia Pacific Sustainability Solution Design Manager will manage a team of Sustainability Solution Designers who will have responsibility for the end-to-end solutioning of Asset Recovery Service Opportunities in AP. The AP Sustainability Solution Design team will work closely with Lenovo Hardware and Service Sellers, ITAD Vendors, and Customers to provide attractive and creative end-of-life solutions for decommissioned products that will meet the Customer's sustainability goals while maximizing the return value for their end-of-life products. In addition, the Sustainability Solution Design Team will work with the Project Management Team to ensure a smooth handover of the solution for execution with the Customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support AP Sustainability Solution Designers with the following:
- Develop/Train/Mentor
- Assist with Customer solution - this may include solution design and/or engagement with sales, Customer, and/or ITAD Vendor.
- Escalations
- Annual goal planning with mid-year and end of year performance reviews
- Create team and individual performance reports.
- Report team performance and initiatives to Worldwide Sustainability Solution Leader monthly.
- Collaborate with Worldwide Sustainability Solution Leader to ensure team compliance to Worldwide Asset Recovery Services presale and execution processes and best practices.
- Challenge existing processes and collaborate with Worldwide Sustainability Solution Leader on process improvements.
- Support Worldwide Sustainability Solution Leader in annual resource and technology planning.
- Lead monthly ITAD Vendor cost performance reviews and provide ITAD Vendor performance input to Lenovo Vendor Management Team for quarterly ITAD Vendor business reviews.
- Collaborate and build trust with AP Sales and Project Management Leaders.
- Support Sustainability Sales Enablement Team to educate customers and internal stakeholders on Asset Recovery Services best practices.
- Support Sustainability Sales Enablement Team on Customer RFPs.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of certifications, product resale trends, tools in the ITAD industry.
What You Bring
- Degree in IT or Hardware Engineering or related discipline.
- 10-12 years relevant experience in solution design for Assest Recover Service or Sustainability solutions in consumer business.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in people management, performance management.
- Excellent collaboration and team work.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
