Description and Requirements
Job Description
- Responsible for server Power Supply Unit supplier quality management which is handling end to end supplier quality management from NPI to EOL, working with cross functional teams to ensure high quality product.
- Involved PSU quality from design review, guide suppliers to identify risks and design limitation at early development phase, as well as the risk in manufacturing, and review corrective solutions to ensure the stable product ramp up into MP with high quality.
- Work closely with cross functional team during NPI stage for issue debugging and troubleshooting.
- Weekly review LRR/VLRR, monthly review for PSU IFIR(DOA) and RA trend, to monitor the performance to generate over target and continuous improvement actions.
- Lenovo box-line issue handling (include but not limited as design problem, material issue, manufacturing problems, etc.), work independently with suppliers and get resource from PSU development to conduct FA, to promptly provide risk assessment and review suppliers' FA and fix corrective actions, then drive lesson-learn.
- Field issue handling: work with cross-function team to get the clearly issue description and failure mode in field, to conduct supplier perform FA including risk assessment and actions review and drive supplier to fulfill the request from customer, such as proactive replacement.
- To review EC content and sign as quality, follow up EC cut in timely and correctly.
- To conduct weekly and monthly quality review with supplier, rating supplier monthly and half-year review.
- Review ECSL with PSU development regularly.
- Expired stock handling to support supply chain demand.
- Cost saving projects w/o quality impact to support the group business goal.
- Be capable of performing audit independently including new supplier audit, new facility audit, new products audit, annual QPA&QSA audit, quality issue follow-up audit.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, or related major in Electronic Engineering.
- EE or equivalent electrical & quality background with 10+ years of direct experience dealing with power commodities.
- Familiar with PSU related technology, good at PSU related failures analysis, understand failure mechanism, skillful to do risk assessment, capable to summarize and present technical data during issue handling.
- Understanding of quality and reliability systems and quality statistics method.
- Excellent communication, presentation & analytical skills in Mandarin and English.
- Adapt to work in high paced environment and business trips worldwide once needed.
- PSU design background or working experiences will be a plus.
