Description and Requirements
We are looking for a Procurement Engineering (PE) engineer(Quality management role) in camera and Safety part categories (Battery/Charger/Cable), supporting global PE, to manage part quality of Indonesia suppliers, support new parts development and solve the part quality issue to deliver best part quality for Indonesia business
The role will be based in Batam, Indonesia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science & engineering, automation or related technical field or 7years equivalent work experience.
- 5+ year experience in camera, cable, charger and/or battery manufacturing or development role, preferred in mobile phone industry.
- Detail oriented. Strong logical thinking. Capable of working in self-directed/motivated mode.
- Knowledge of quality methodology and tools, supplier process audit, quality control plan, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D and/or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills in English / Mandarin.
- Experience working with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
- Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
- Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
