Description and Requirements
Employer: Lenovo Japan, LLC
Work location: Akihabara UDX (Tokyo); (3 onsite and 2 remote days in a week in general)
Smoking: Not allowed in the office, but smoking room is available in 5th floor of Akihabara UDX
Employment condition: Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)
# of hirings: 1-2HCs
Expected salary: 7.5-11M (B7), depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decision
Overtime allowance: Specialist (B7) allowance will be applicable
Working hours: 9:00-17:45 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00))
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holiday

Job contents:
- You are responsible for 2-3 of the 6 Lenovo group companies in the areas of mid-career and new graduate recruitment activities as (Senior) Talent Acquisition (TA) Staff under Band 6 or 7 (internal grade).
- Partner closely with assigned business units to manage full-cycle end-to-end recruitment processes, to ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are aligned with our HR standard, and to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicate with business leaders and hiring managers to evaluate their talent requirements and advise the best way of hiring strategy, including effective sourcing plan.
- Use various types of sourcing channels, including direct sourcing tools via web, job fair, networking event, employee referral, agency vendors and identify/attract the best talents, especially by data mining and scouting activities.
- Create and maintain pipeline of the candidate list for corresponding to the urgent request of the hiring.
- Attend job fair events for attracting the best talents for Lenovo group companies.
- Screen and select candidates effectively by assessing both the technical and business skills as well as culture fit within our environment.
- Provide a productive experience for all candidate from the application submission stage to offer, by evaluating the correct/matching skill for your requirement, driving the interview and offer processes efficiently, including reference checks, salary recommendations/negotiations and closing of candidates.
- Be conscious of aging requirements and plan for filling them quickly while receiving support from TA manager and hiring manager.
- Utilize internal recruitment system, follow up the TA process and execute the recruitment activities accurately, while being conscious of compliance matters.
- Provide progress reports upon requested schedules.
- Cope with the other members in TA team and try to fulfil the requirements for all the Lenovo group companies.
Requirements
Must Have - Essential experience
- 5-10 years of experience in successfully managing recruiting process in a fast-paced/precise environment at a foreign-invested company.
- Recruiter experience in any IT or R&D company, especially in AI, hardware/software development business
- Deliver exceptional support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, while ensuring positive candidate experience.
- Demonstrate capability to cultivate strong, productive relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Exposure to a full-lifecycle recruiting, for example; req consultation, direct sourcing, screening, interview arrangement, offer negotiations, closing, and candidate relationship management.
- Experience in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Maintaining effective relationship with agency partners
- Campus recruitment experience
- Business consulting firm experience
- Some experience in working together with RPO recruiters
- Bachelor's degree or higher with brilliant academic record
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with candidates, agency vendor consultants, hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
- Language skills: Japanese (Native-level); English (Business-level, such as TOEIC 800 points or higher)
- Pleasant character
- Working experience in a recruitment team at a foreign invested company in Japan
- Recruiter experience in IT or R&D business
- Business consultant in HR domain
