About Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Lead to join our ISG CSP (Infrastructure Solutions Group - Cloud Service Providers) team. This position is critical for managing and driving the technical development of server products for hyperscaler customers in North America. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in delivering complex server solutions tailored to the needs of hyperscale cloud service providers.

As a Senior System Lead, you will lead with comprehensive view of our product development and will be working closely with client's senior technical personnel to ensure our products' delivery with customers' satisfaction. Your role will involve guiding cross-functional R&D teams, including Electrical (EE), Mechanical (ME), Thermal, and Software (SW, BMC, BIOS) engineering teams as well as product validation and test engineering team from RFI, RFP, RFQ, NPI till mass production phase, as to achieve project goals and maintain our industry-leading standards

Job Description

  • Lead the system-level design and architecture of server products, ensuring alignment with hyperscaler customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for hyperscaler customers, driving discussions on requirements, design trade-offs, and system-level solutions.
  • Lead and manage (dotted-line) cross-functional R&D teams (EE, ME, Thermal, BIOS, BMC), and production engineering team to ensure success of product development.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards, customer specifications, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Drive system-level performance analysis and optimizations, ensuring server products meet or exceed customer expectations in reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Communicate fluently in English to engage with clients' higher-level technical personnel mainly based in US.
  • Engage in discussions about the product system architecture design, technical issues/bugs analysis, and high-level project status and technical risks ...etc.
  • Collaborate with hyperscaler customers to gather detailed requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects total success in on-time and quality delivery and project cost performance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, RD team, Plant engineering teams) to manage resources, budgets, and project milestones.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, thermal, mechanical, and validation teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of server products.
  • Lead and Follow up any technical issues/bugs and also co-work with technical project manager to achieve project's milestones, TTM, and delivering status.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on server or data center products
  • Experience working with hyperscaler customers and delivering complex technical solutions
  • Experience with system architecture, hardware design, and product development cycles in the IT or cloud infrastructure industry
  • Experience using system design and simulation tools, as well as knowledge of validation and testing methodologies
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hyperscaler customers
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of liquid cooling, high-performance computing, or advanced storage technologies
  • Deep technical understanding of server hardware, system architecture, and hyperscale data center requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences, including customers and internal teams
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as PCIe, NVMe, Ethernet, and other server technologies
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
