Description and Requirements

About the role :We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior IoT Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of IoT solutions across various industry verticals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IoT technologies, cloud platforms, and edge computing, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions. This role focuses on end-to-end solution architecture, integrating hardware, software, and data analytics to drive business transformation through IoT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design IoT Solutions: Lead the architecture of IoT ecosystems, including device integration, network connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics.
  • Lead Solution Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IoT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product development, software engineering, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of IoT devices and systems.
  • Cloud and Edge Architecture: Design and implement solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and edge computing for real-time processing and decision-making.
  • Data Management: Define data flow, storage, and analytics strategies for IoT data, ensuring security, compliance, and real-time insights.
  • Security: Implement robust security protocols for IoT devices, networks, and cloud systems to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define requirements, present solutions, and refine architecture based on feedback and evolving needs.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest IoT trends, technologies, and best practices to inform ongoing innovation and competitive advantage.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience: 7 years in solution architecture with a focus on IoT projects and technologies.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of IoT protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, etc.).
    • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and edge computing.
    • Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, and hardware integration.
    • Expertise in data analytics platforms and real-time data processing.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior architects and developers.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning integration in IoT solutions.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, smart cities, healthcare, or industrial automation.
