Description and Requirements
Employer: Lenovo Japan, LLC
Work location: Akihabara UDX (Tokyo); (3 onsite and 2 remote days in a week in general)
Smoking: Not allowed in the office, but smoking room is available in 5th floor of Akihabara UDX
Employment condition: Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)

Expected salary: OTE13-17M (B9), depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decision
Overtime allowance: Basically, not applicable for this position
Working hours: 9:00-17:45 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00))
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holiday

About Organization:
HR Business Partner will provide strategic and tactical HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives of the assigned business teams in NEC Lenovo Group.
The selected candidate must be a strategic thought leader, have a track record of building partnerships with all levels of employees and have a history of implementing successful programs across heavily matrix organizations.
Thought leadership, organizational agility, business acumen, relationship building, and solid execution are the keys to being successful in this position.
In addition, this position will help employees understand the correct HR policies and schemes, foster a desire to achieve and change the mindset of individual employees, and aim to improve organizational strength and productivity.
Moreover, this position will be responsible for project management of HR-related initiatives and provide leadership for project success. For example, a candidate with a strong C&B background may be expected to utilize his/her experience to serve as a Comp Lead and to coordinate with overseas Comp Teams.

Roles and responsibilities:
The following roles are basically supposed but will be decided based on candidate's skill and experience.
- Partner with the business on OD (Organizational Development), succession planning, talent development and workforce planning
- Actively lead and project manage various strands of specific HR Strategic projects and implement HR initiatives
- You may also be assigned specialist jobs. For example, a candidate with a strong C&B background may be expected to utilize his/her experience to serve as a Comp Lead and to coordinate with overseas Comp Teams.

Requirements
Must Have - essential
- More than 15 years of experience in human resource area - including HR Business Partner
- More than 3 years of HRBP experience (or equivalent)
- Experience in multinational company and matrix organization
Skill, Competency
- Broad knowledge and experience in all human resources areas
- Business level English and native level Japanese
- Strong skills in communication, problem solving, logical thinking and teamwork
Good to have - desirable
- COE background, especially in C&B experience
- Prior experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in people management role or as senior HR talent, having experience in leading a team or any HR project
- Network with external professionals (Human resource, HR consultant and vendors etc.)
Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate would be self-driven and able to work effectively both with business leaders and with HR colleagues, while having the ability to handle multiple tasks and proactively solve problems. Preferred to have an aspiration to become a major role in HR, such as HR head role.
- For example, we target any candidates who has experience in COE and recently working as HRBP at any foreign-invested companies. Or, works as HR head in a SMB company and performs any HR project assignments while handling hands-on operational works.
