Description and Requirements

The sales manager will manage sales team in charge of relationship of customers in Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.

She/he is responsible for market execution in all 3 countries, distributors, retailers and carriers: Claro Paraguay, Claro Uruguay, Tigo Paraguay, Antel Uy, etc. This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina but the person should have a flexibility to travel (50% of time).

The main challenge of this role is improved brand positioned and increase market share.

Responsibilities:

Monitor market/retailer activity to develop the most cost-effective strategies in order to drive volume and profitability through increased penetration and promotion.

Assists in the identification and evaluation of business opportunities by keeping an eye out for business best practices, trends, that will enable the sales department to improve revenues without losing focus on customer relationships.

Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.

Coach the distributor/ customers sales force to engage them with the Motorola portfolio and the brand objectives.

You may have the responsibility of interacting with a local team of Marketing, Trade marketing, finance, business operations and their output.

Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these; maintain and expand relationships with our suppliers and agencies.

Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.

Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.

Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.

You'll be expected to be ordered, and proactive.

You'll do reports and presentations to sell in, sell out, data base, clients, competitors, sales forecasts.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in tech industry.

Availability for travel up to 50%.

Strong commercial, communication, and negotiation skills.
