Description and Requirements

This position is a 2-year maternity cover backfill.

Description and Requirements

  • Create and update all Learning Management System (LMS) learning content including content uploading, creating classes, courses and curricula.
  • Shares responsibility for testing learning object functionality in the LMS.
  • Inputs data and performs quality control of data input by other training staff.
  • Advise on LMS functionality and processes, as well as providing LMS support and enhancing the LMS user experience.
  • Acts in a Customer Support role by answering key questions of learners, field personnel, corporate staff, and department teammates over online chat, email. Provide end-user support by troubleshooting, offering assistance and issue remediation.
  • Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
  • Create and ensure standardized LMS documentation is in line with plans and governance.
  • Maintain accurate data and records in LMS and database.
  • Pull reports from each platform and tool to communicate the system utilization and improve user experience. Recognizes trends and provides feedback plus recommendations to training management teams.
  • Create and validate ad hoc reports, as required.
  • Be a key part in the LMS migration: work with solutions that extend the system functionality. This would include system integrations, bulk data import/export operations, custom reports.
  • Test and validates the new LMS functionalities.
  • Facilitates training sessions regarding LMS processes, as needed.

Essential skills and experience

  • 3-5+ years of Learning Management Systems administration experience is required
  • Experience with at least two LMS is required (preferably Workday, Adobe, Saba/Cornerstone)
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required

  • Aptitude to learn software and applications (we are seeking a candidate who has an aptitude for learning and understanding technology)
  • Experience in previous migration projects
  • Career paths and gamification knowledge
  • Detailed oriented with analytical thinking ability
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a global team setting, while managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent people skills for working with both technical staff, executives, and end users
  • Bachelor's Degree in education technology, Education Administration or Business Communication/ Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Some knowledge of HTML and SharePoint is also beneficial
