Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Solutions and Services International Sales Organization (SSG ISO) is looking for an HR Partner to support our Pre-Sales and Lenovo Global Financial Services teams. In this role, you will proactively partner with business clients to align SSG's HR strategy and programs to their business needs. This position will be a consultant to management on all areas of HR including, but not limited to: organization structure design, resource planning, talent acquisition and mapping, leadership development, change management, total rewards, recognition programs, and employment engagement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Senior Leadership Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and align/execute HR strategies accordingly. Consult and coach customer around our total rewards philosophy and application to guide quality decisions.
  • Talent Management & Development: Identify, integrate, and deliver effective HR services including talent management and development, organizational design, and effectiveness, change management, strategic consultation and coaching, and employee engagement strategies.
  • HR COE Partnership: Supports HR-related communications rollouts for assigned organization, ensuring that business is prepared to address HR programs and processes with accuracy following the HR calendar.
  • Employee Relations - Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by developing solid relationships at all levels. Proactively identify and address employee relations issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence - Responsible for headcount management and tracking as well as other HR operational tasks (ex. Workday, one-time payments, data changes)
  • Talent Assessment and Analytics: Utilize talent assessment tools, reports, and analytics to identify business trends and ensure that appropriate solutions are in place to support.
  • Change Agent - Act as a liaison for SSG locally. Suggest new initiatives and programs to implement. Stay informed about best practices and changing HR trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor' degree with 5+ years' progressive HR experience, HR Business Partner or in an HR generalist related field
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including organization development, talent acquisition, employee and relations, performance management, compensation practices, diversity, and respective employment laws
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire senior level customers globally to adopt best practices in HR
  • Ability to guide leaders through organizational effectiveness, design and change initiatives.
  • Results orientation and demonstrated strategic thinking, innovation, and flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
  • High sense of responsibility and integrity
  • Outstanding ability to communicate concepts clearly, concisely, and effectively to management
  • Must be based at a Lenovo site and willing to adopt a flexible time schedule and work style to meet the needs of a complex and matrixed global organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in providing HR support to sales organizations
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting global team structures in a rapidly changing and complex work environment
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Success in fast-moving, change management situations
