Description and Requirements

To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are looking to enhance our team with additional talent. We are currently seeking a highly dynamic Site Quality Management Systems Engineer with education/experience necessary to join our growing Engineering team based in our 240,000 square feet fulfillment and manufacturing center in Whitsett, NC (between Greensboro/Burlington).

The Site Quality Management Systems Engineer will lead and assist with conducting Internal and External Quality Management System Audits, identifying, documenting, and providing solutions for Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions. This role will also require you to coordinate the control of all quality department related records and documentation. This self-motivated candidate will work alongside operations, engineering and extended support teams to assist in creating and implementing training programs for managers and employees to understand the active roles in sustaining a successful quality system.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the site's production processes, procedures, and products or services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on all activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop internal auditing tools and conduct internal audits and reports.
  • Determine data-driven solutions and implement quality improvement plans.
  • Assist with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain quality management documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree or Technical Certification
  • 1-3+ years of demonstrated and relevant work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing facility
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic SAP knowledge
  • Proficient using Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Quality certifications or memberships is a plus
  • Repair/asset reclamation experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and ability to manage time and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and deal with ambiguity
