About Our Team
The ideal Public Sector Inside SLED Client Manager will be aggressive, goal-oriented, articulate and possess sound phone and face to face sales skills. A strong personality with the desire to reach high performance goals is a must. Client Managers will work with Acquisition accounts in the Public Sector SLED space - focused on small-to-medium sized Education customers. These Client Managers will have sole ownership of their book of accounts; and will have sole responsibility to exceed revenue, profit and services targets.
This position will be responsible for uncovering opportunities, selling the benefits of the full suite of Lenovo products and services; and selling against the competition. Client Managers will configure, price, negotiate and quote sales solutions as well as provide proactive follow-up, product information and overall account support via the virtual and in person customer interactions.
The Client Managers will also be tightly aligned with Lenovo's strategic business partners, both internally and externally, by leveraging cross-segment resources to sell the full suite of products. Client Managers will work within segment initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management.
You will:
- Develop and cultivate client relationships as well as achieving profit and revenue objectives.
- Be a leader in building and developing processes driving client satisfaction, operational efficiency, new account development, repeat sales, product upgrades, problem resolution, sales campaign programs, and business controls to maximize results.
- Ensure that products, services, and solutions recommended to customers will fulfill their needs.
- Manage a team of Mid-Market Client Managers responsible for Acquisition and the Retention and Development of customers
- Manage all aspects of complex sales and drive to close. The successful candidate will have demonstrated team building and leadership experience.
- 10% travel required quarterly.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous field (outside) sales experience and inside sales experience
- 2+ years previous sales team leadership and/or management experience
- Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment
- PC Industry/IT Hardware sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to influence others
- Demonstrated experience in showing quarter over quarter growth in sales revenue with large accounts
