Description and Requirements

Lenovo Solutions and Services Group (SSG) brings together all of Lenovo's IT solutions and services across PC, infrastructure, and smart verticals, including attached services, managed services, and as-a-Service offerings, into one dedicated organization. The Professional Services Delivery group is looking is for an expert in datacenter services to join their team as a Services Delivery Manager for North America. In this role you will lead NA Hybrid Cloud professional services technical delivery and report to the worldwide delivery leader. The ideal candidate for this role should have a very strong technical background in enterprise, datacenter, hybrid cloud, and storage technology. Also, the ideal candidate should have great leadership and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a regular stakeholder or collaborate with offering development, as-a-Service, sales, channel partners, support, finance, and managed services organizations

• Act as escalation point for overall PS delivery in NA GEO projects/programs.

• Collaborate with worldwide delivery organizations on pre-sales opportunities and global services engagements

• Facilitate scheduling technical consultants for client engagements, and assignments of project management from PMO

• Drive team's technical education, lab work, and certification opportunities

• Drive process improvements to facilitate high levels of CSAT and services growth

• Perform deal reviews and review/approve scope of work documents

• Track engagement progress and provide quarterly revenue projections

• Solution review and validation for deal submission

• Commercial modelling of the solutions, efforts and services required for Deals, SOW, or contracts

• Vendor/partner handing

• Revenue projections and contribution on Winning more deals and meet KPI's for revenue, cost, utilization etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years in Professional Service delivery or technical leadership role for deployment of Hybrid Cloud Solutions

• 10+ years in client facing positions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus

• Hands on experience with discovery, assessment, design, deployment, migration, and/or support is beneficial

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor communications to different audiences

• Industry certifications and/or experience in VMware, Azure, Nutanix, Red Hat KVM or OpenShift, AI, Lenovo storage such as ONTAP, AWS, networking, Veeam or Commvault, edge products, networking, and SAN are a plus

• Background in growing services organizations in revenue, scale, and capabilities

• Travel within US & Canada may be required up to approximately 10% of time
