Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand and closely monitor the supply chain of smartphone (and adjacent categories) with respect to costs change, technical developments, and innovation.
  • Understand the technical aspects including (but not restricted to camera, display, touch, audio, out-of-box, etc.) that could impact the consumer experience.
  • Optimize product features by consolidating customer needs, market trends and technical developments.
  • Provide effective support to Product Managers / Benchmark Product Manager to determine the best solution for competitive products in terms (but not restricted to) technical features and costs.
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various teams including: Engineering, Purchasing, Procurements, Operation, Marketing, and Sales

Essential Skill:

  • Bachelor degree or above in marketing, business administration; engineering major with an advance business degree (MBA for example) is also preferred.
  • Experience on R&D, Procurement, Product Management, Project Management, Technical Research or Consultant, and an exactly fit of product portfolio management will have a clear advantage.
  • Strong strategy & analytical skills to understand market & competitive dynamics and develop value based strategies to drive growth and profit.
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions (Engineering, Purchasing, Operation, Marketing, and Sales, etc.), ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Good communication & presentation skills, fluent in English, good MS offices skills.
  • Willing to learn, responsible, self-motivated, team spirit, result oriented.
