Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Services and Solutions Group is on the lookout for an IT Services and Solutions Procurement and System Integration Specialist skilled in procurement sourcing of system integrators and partners, with capabilities in hybrid cloud solutions, hyperscale data centers, networking and digital workspace solutions.

A keen understanding and passionate interest of generative AI technologies will be advantageous. This role is pivotal in onboarding and building an ecosystem of partners enhancing our services offerings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or significant experience in IT systems implementation.

- Minimum of 7 years in IT Systems Integration, with at least 3 years in IT consulting, business systems analysis, or a similar role.

- Demonstrated experience in IT procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor management.

- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, cloud migration projects, hyperscale data center operations, IT hardware upsell offerings and digital workspace solutions.

- Familiarity or passion in keeping up with generative AI technologies

- Exceptional contract negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge in designing partner working scoping and cost framework model. Knowledge in partner management methods.

- Commercial Legal background is a plus

- Language proficiency in English required

Responsibilities:

1. Curate ecosystem of Suppliers by helping select Partners

• Identify potential partners and technology solutions through extensive market research, focusing on innovations that boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

. Prepare and pre-qualify partner nominations and vetting requests.

• Maintain and assess coverage and skills required by business and shape vendor ecosystem accordingly.

2. Lead contract negotiations and manage IT hardware, software, and professional services procurement, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructures.

3. Evaluating supplier performance and managing relationship to ensure quality, on time delivery and cost efficiency.

4. Oversee the procurement process from vendor evaluation to onboarding, ensuring compliance with Lenovo's standards.

5. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement integrated solutions that fulfill business goals and financial criteria.

6. Coordination with internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of procurement process.

7. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations.

8. Stay informed of industry developments, with a particular focus on hyperscale data centers, digital workspace solutions, AI, and generative AI technologies.
