Description and Requirements

This position can be based in any Lenovo location in Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Project Leadership: Play a pivotal role in technical software solution projects by analyzing customer requirements and collaborating with software alliance partners to deliver customer-oriented solutions.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex customer requirements and technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of Lenovo's software solutions.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance to other team members, contributing to global software initiatives and programs, while sharing best practices and knowledge.
  • Solution Portfolio Development: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to propose bundled software solutions with software alliances and services, enhancing Lenovo's overall solutions portfolio.
  • Hardware Certification Management: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure hardware certifications are achieved with software alliance partners, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Partner Evaluation and Development: Assess potential new partners for Lenovo's software and solutions ecosystem, with a focus on their technical capabilities and the added value they can provide to the portfolio.
  • AI Collaboration: Partner with the AI team to identify and develop joint opportunities with software alliances, expanding Lenovo's reach in the AI and software solutions space.
  • Stakeholder and Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, alliance partners, and Lenovo stakeholders to understand their needs, negotiate terms, and build consensus on technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) with significant professional experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in pre-sales technical support and the development/implementation of complex software solutions.
  • Software Alliances Knowledge: In-depth understanding of software alliance partnerships and experience in working with remote teams across multiple countries.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated track record of resolving complex technical issues and providing innovative solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and managing software solution projects, with the ability to guide team members and contribute to global initiatives.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, capable of building consensus with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Certifications: Familiarity with hardware certifications and experience working with engineering teams to ensure compliance with alliance standards.
  • AI and Emerging Technologies: Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to collaborate with AI teams and software alliances to identify new opportunities.
