Description and Requirements

The Marketing Manager is responsible for working together with sales team (KAMs) to develop the marketing strategy and plans aligned to channel needs & client's objective, to reach the KPIs previously defined at the company's annual plan. This plan must be approved by the channel Marketing senior Manager.

  • Knowledge of total company KPIs, source of growth for Motorola Mx, macro brand & media strategy and channel strategy.
  • Understands how to identify Key Performance Indicators that should be used to measure the impact of assets, of campaigns, of marketing activities, and of end to end marketing initiatives.
  • Develop Annual sales & investment analysis, for each client in charge.
  • Deep knowledge of the vision, objectives, strategies & activities by the clients in charge.
  • Investigation of insights & new communication tools/media of the industry, competitors, and more specifically for the clients in charge, its shopper, and its trends.
  • Develop the annual and quarterly marketing plan by client, considering a consumer centric strategy to provide a better engaging experience to our customers and help driving sales. Considering the budget.
  • Responsible for marketing budget for clients in charge.
  • Develop marketing launch plan by client considering budget and aligned to brand strategy.
  • Provide strategic direction to TRADE MKTG to win at each client in charge.
  • Develop marketing proposals that change sales trends, based on sales weekly knowledge by client.
  • Take advantage of brand sponsorship to improve sales.
  • Daily business follows up to assure the execution of the marketing plan at the client in charge.
  • Qualitative & quantitative analysis of the marketing investment (ROI/ learning).
  • Conducts deep dives into marketing performance data, market research, customer insights, and looks for connections that will help to guide decision making on marketing and branding strategy. Understands how different variables impact performance of marketing activities and makes recommendations for changes to strategic direction.
  • Propose content ideas for Motorola Campaigns on each client, based on insights.
  • Develop strategic presentations for middle & top management of internal & external clients.
  • Brief, execution & post evaluation of holistic comarketing campaigns from ATL (on & off media) to marketing experience at POS.
  • Negotiations with the client's mkt and commercial team to approve the marketing plan & investment and achieve additional actions without costs for Motorola.
  • Self continuously develops marketing & managerial skills (strategic thinking, consumer centricity, planning & organizing).
  • Administrative activities to make things happen: briefs, PO, etc.
