Description and Requirements

Role&Responsibility

• Collaborate with engineering, PM, manufacturing and other stake holders to build and continuously optimize DFM/Supplier selection/Process selection strategy and NPI process from new business opportunity to SOP

• Lead product manufacturability review for new business opportunity with anticipating risks of manufacturing process and quality

• Confirm process workflow, production line layout, production plan (capacity, tooling, fixture, tester) to ensure readiness for trail production

• Manage arrangement of trial production, coordination of manufacturing resource and problem solving to secure smooth trail production and continuous improvement

• Be responsible for compile, review and release process documents (process work flow, DFM, PFMEA, Control plan, capacity plan) in NPI phase and review process related documents in PPAP phase

• Recap cycle time/UPH for process cost check and participate in activities of capacity improvement and cost reduction

Education / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical design/Industrial Engineering/Automation or equivalent majors, with 10+ years working experiences in NPI, process engineering, manufacturing engineering or related positions of Automotive electronics.

• Good understanding of APQP, PPAP, IATF16949, VDA process.

• Good understanding of NPI process, manufacturing process and testing process of Automotive electronics

• Good understanding of production planning, Six-sigma/Lean, CPK/GRR/DOE, PCBA testing, ICT/FCT testing

• Good capability of problem solving and logic thinking with fast learning

• Good capability of communication, organization and coordination

• Strong ownership, relentless under big pressure and proactive

• Workable English writing and speaking
