Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the development and implementation of procurement initiatives
2. Strategic price and contract negotiations
3. Interfacing with Marketing and Engineering for new product development strategy and implementation, optimizing material selection to maintain lowest cost, predictable availability, and industry leadership in quality
4. Establish and develop strategic sourcing strategy and supplier relationships
5. Manage overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability development, cost and quality improvements
6. Responsible for quarterly executive business reviews of strategic sourcing plan that defines, among other things, product roadmaps, supplier capabilities and annual / quarterly strategic business objectives
7. Maintain personal knowledge of market trends including rigorous analysis of market drivers, cost structures and technical improvements
8. Develop and negotiate supply contracts
Candidate Requirement:
1. Bachelor's degree or above
2.1+/10+ years of relevant experience in Mobile/IT Sourcing or Supply Chain Management
3. Fluent English Demonstrated Skills Required
4. Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).
5. Strong negotiation skills
6. Ability to solve problems and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems.
8. Experience in Electronics or Camera/FPM related field is highly desirable.
