Description and Requirements

Position Description

As a Mobile NPI Project Manager, you will lead and oversee the supply chain readiness and execution for the successful launch of new products, ensuring seamless integration across cross-functional teams. This role focuses on managing the entire New Product Introduction (NPI) process from supply chain setup and material readiness to risk mitigation and quality assurance. Your expertise will drive the timely delivery of innovative products to market with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End NPI Supply Chain Management:

    • Drive new product supply chain launch processes, ensuring timely delivery of products to market, achieving production volume targets, and meeting quality benchmarks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on supply chain strategies and execution plans.
  2. Overseas Supply Chain Readiness:

    • Lead the readiness of the global supply chain for new product launches, ensuring smooth processes across all regions.
    • Design and implement end-to-end supply chain frameworks tailored to new product requirements.
  3. Production Planning and Forecasting:

    • Develop detailed build plans, supply commitments, and forecasts for new products.
    • Manage capacity coordination, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet launch milestones.
  4. Quality and Risk Mitigation:

    • Collaborate with quality teams to create and execute risk control and mitigation plans, ensuring high-quality standards for new products.
    • Address potential risks proactively, ensuring smooth project execution and timely problem resolution.
  5. Material Readiness and Management:

    • Oversee material readiness across the supply chain to ensure production continuity.
    • Manage inventory and procurement strategies to support product launches.
  6. Supply Chain Readiness Reviews:

    • Act as the owner of key supply chain review checkpoints, including pilot builds, ramp-ups, OK2S (OK-to-Ship), and SLE (System-Level Events).
    • Monitor and report progress on critical milestones to ensure timely approvals and readiness for product launches.
  7. Risk and Communication Management:
    • Identify and manage project risks proactively, ensuring early detection and resolution of potential challenges.
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on risks, milestones, and progress.


Requirements

  1. Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Industry Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 2 years in the mobile phone industry.
    • Strong technical/engineering expertise in areas such as tooling, mechanical systems, or SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
  3. Supply Chain Expertise:

    • Proven experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing management, or production operations.
    • Ability to manage complex supply chain processes for large-scale product launches.
  4. Language Proficiency:

    • Fluency in English, Indonesian (oral and written), and Chinese (preferred), is required for effective communication across diverse teams and regions.
