Description and Requirements

We are looking for a talented Master Planning Specialist to join our team in Batam, Indonesia. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless Product Data Management (PDM) by managing product hierarchies, sales models, BOMs, and collaborating with global teams. Based in the vibrant city of Batam, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain and operational planning initiatives.

Location: Batam, Indonesia

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Data Management:

    • Set up product hierarchy and container structures according to project timelines.
    • Develop and manage sales model BOMs using Fixed BOM and Super BOM approaches.
  2. Change Management:

    • Oversee change requests and Engineering Change (EC) processes.
    • Review and approve EC tasks following PDM rules.
  3. Data Maintenance:

    • Maintain and update item master data in PLM/JIRA systems.
    • Provide data-driven solutions for emerging business scenarios.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Planning team to ensure accurate BOM management in line with sales models.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand and implement product specifications.
    • Support supply chain operation planning through coordination with global suppliers and ODMs.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Industrial Knowledge & Experience:

    • Strong understanding of supply chain, planning, and Product Data Management.
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience (2 years may be considered for exceptional candidates).
  • Skills and Tools:

    • Proficiency in PLM, JIRA, and SAP software (preferred).
    • Knowledge of Python (a plus).
