Description and Requirements
The Job
- To manage a team of staff in the operation, maintenance, enhancement, and development of dedicated electronic systems to meet customer`s requirements
- To plan, direct, control and supervise the operation and maintenance of dedicated electronic systems to ensure optimal service availability up-to the required standard
- To liaise with customer(s) (e.g. Government officials) and contractors regarding future planning, enhancements, and service quality issues
- To initiate, advice and arrange for the enhancement of the systems as required by the customer; to propose specifications for procurement of system equipment, together with direct and supervise system enhancement for these projects and act as a technical advisor on behalf of the customer
- To forecast, prepare and control budgets in compliance with prescribed policies and standards.
- To control and update equipment inventory and spare parts stocks in compliance with prescribed procedures and requirements
- To ensure the manpower and resources are allocated in an efficient manner
- To motivated staff and foster staff training and development for enhancement of their potentials
- To perform such other duties as may be required
The Person
- Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Electronic Engineering or relating discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in operating and maintenance of electronic systems
- Sound technical skills, analytical mind, strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Well-organized, work independently and under pressure
- Good command of written and spoken of English and Chinese
