Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of generative AI? As a Junior GenAI Software Engineer at Lenovo, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that are shaping the future of technology. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop and maintain GenAI solutions for our core platform, powering various cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities
- In this role, you will work with the user, device and services data and micro-services to power GenAI applications.
- Work with a team of engineers to develop and maintain GenAI applications.
- Learn and apply programming languages like Python and Java to build efficient and scalable software solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Assist in designing, developing and testing software solutions for identified business problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning technology space.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary, globally distributed team of professionals. that can include Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Project and Product Managers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or 2+ years of relevant experience) in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related technical field.
- Solid foundations in programming concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for learning and exploring new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to data processing, machine learning or AI concepts.
- Previous experience developing software for running cloud platforms.
- Experience prototyping GenAI project(s) is a plus.
