Description and Requirements

As an SMB Account Representative for Lenovo, you will be responsible for driving outbound sales efforts, developing a book of business, and building strong relationships with clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Focusing on selling Lenovo products and services to key clients, your primary goal will be to achieve revenue and profitability objectives through proactive outbound engagement with leads. Note that this role does not involve cold calling; instead, it centers on working with existing leads and executing targeted outbound sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Sales Management: Lead the outbound sales process, including prospecting, calling leads, and cultivating long-term client relationships within the e-commerce sector.
  • Book of Business Development: Build and sustain a dedicated book of business focused on outbound opportunities rather than inbound queries, aligned with Lenovo's DACH region growth objectives.
  • Solution Selling: Tailor and sell Lenovo products and solutions by configuring, pricing, and quoting offerings that meet specific client needs.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate weekly sales forecasts and pipelines, tracking progress towards sales targets and reporting metrics as needed.
  • Account Support: Provide exceptional account support through proactive follow-ups and customer service, maximizing client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs, resolve operational or product issues, and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Participate in team meetings and share best practices within the sales community, contributing to continuous learning and performance excellence.
  • Independent Execution: Work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills to consistently exceed expectations and meet goals.

Qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency: Native German speaker with strong business English skills is essential.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in outbound-focused sales, with no specific requirement for an IT background.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships within a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and other tools for managing tasks and client communications.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Strong multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple client accounts and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Proactive Attitude: Enthusiastic, proactive, and goal-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
