Description and Requirements

As an industrial engineering technician, you will collaborate closely with industrial engineers to implement and maintain efficient systems within manufacturing and production environments. The primary responsibilities will involve assisting in the design, development, testing, and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes.

Responsibilities:
  1. System Analysis and Improvement: Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze operational data, such as production schedules, workflow, and equipment performance metrics, to support engineering projects and decision-making.
  3. Project Support: Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of engineering projects, including the installation of new systems or equipment upgrades.
  4. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports, diagrams, and documentation to communicate project objectives, specifications, and outcomes.
  5. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Process Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, methods, and systems to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  8. Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to production personnel on new processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Work Environment: Industrial engineering technicians primarily work in manufacturing facilities, where they collaborate with engineers, production managers, and technical staff. The role may involve occasional travel to different plant locations or suppliers.
