Description and Requirements
As a Global Staff Test Engineer, you are expert with strong electronic manufacture background, you will lead the development of advanced manufacture technology and lead new technology introduction project. You will work with relevant collaborators from our global networks to enable best manufacturability, quality, and total cost of manufacturing through innovation and continuous improvement activity.
Job Description
- Responsible for the introduction of new mobile terminal products(Mainly phone & tablet) in the global factory support, as the interface of the global test engineering department, into the product project team for the production test introduction support.
- Assist test program development engineers in test program verification and release and participate in test sequence development and debugging.
- Tracking the trial production process, cross-function problems through the R&D & factory for root cause analysis/solution discussion and provide targeted validation programs, to ensure that product testing-related issues are effectively promoted and thoroughly resolved.
- Assist in engineering capacity building and problem solving for plants throughout the Southeast Asia region.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in communication/electronics/electromechanics/computer, etc. is preferred.
- 5+ years of work experience, communications-related industry development or testing experience, test project management experience is preferred.
- Interest in computer programming and communication technology, have the spirit of research, analyze the problem of clear thinking, strong understanding, good communication skills and teamwork ability is preferred.
- Familiar with C# or C++ and automation equipment development experience is preferred.
- Familiar with mobile terminal production testing process or have related work experience is preferred.
- International company or overseas onsite support experience is preferred.
- Candidate will need to be based at Batam, Indonesia.
Common Capability requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Fluent English (both in spoken and written) is a must, Chinese is better.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong execution ability and make decision in hard environment.
- Positive, proactive and very systematic approach on problems solving and troubleshooting.
- Capable to work independently and remotely with product development.
- Excellent Learning capability.
