Senior Financial Analyst - Australia and New Zealand

Deliver excellent financial support to the Lenovo Australia and New Zealand business through effective and collaborative engagement throughout the financial calendar.

FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis)

  • Support the ANZ Country Finance Lead (CFM) in providing value added business analysis across all Segments (Large Enterprise, Small Medium Business, Consumer, Ecommerce).
  • Finance Business Partner to internal stakeholders to drive profitability by way of analysing the 4P (Product, Pricing, Promotion and Positioning) metrics.
  • Support, Coordinate, and prepare the AU and NZ Monthly Business reviews with analysis and insights for the CFM and Sales Leadership teams.
  • Business Partnering with ANZ Sales Operations, Segment Sales Leaders, and Services to drive and grow direct sales to our Large Enterprise accounts and Consumer Retail segments with a focus on profitability and sustainability.
  • Reporting, forecasting and analysis of financial performance including Customer and Product profitability, Revenue, Rebates efficiency and Cost drivers at the market Segment level.
  • Interlock with Sales Operations by way of the weekly forecast to track Quarter-to-Date performance against the Finance PowerBI reports including review and analysis of weekly Stock-On-Hand, Billing and Backlog data.
  • Uncovering and driving efficiencies and effectiveness around the Partner and Distributor rebate programs with focus on Sell-Through and Sell-Out metrics.
  • Pro-active approach to any ad-hoc requirements.

Business Partnering and Controls

  • Interface with internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Service Delivery, and Commercial operations teams) to oversee and ensure a smooth Order to Ship process from a finance perspective.
  • Stakeholder management and driving accountability between Order Management, CFS services, Customer acceptance and billing (DaaS contracts) to maximise revenue.
  • Support commercial challenges impacting revenue recognition including, and not limited to the DaaS (Device as a Service) revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations team to monitor the Stock in Channel Sell-In, Sell-through, and Weeks-of-Inventory analysis.
  • Provide insights on the Finished Goods Inventory and Returns goods process from Retailers.
  • Support Marketing team on the E2E process by tracking quarterly marketing activities, monitoring POE (proof of executions), ROI (return on investment) and the compliance requirements of external rebates via Alliance funding.
  • External collaboration with customers and partners, and with internal Sales team to resolve any financial or commercial challenges as required.
  • Optimising financial reports (PowerBI), audit, tax, compliance requirements and systems transformation initiatives.
