Description and Requirements

Exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our DACH team!

In this hybrid role, you'll support local business teams and lead finance transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment with strategic goals. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive efficiency towards a unified Finance function, "One Lenovo" (covering all Business Groups).

Main responsibilities FP&A:

  • Support weekly forecasting, monthly closings, and cost analysis
  • Collaborate with central expense teams on analysis of operational costs
  • Manage and approve fixed assets process, handle intercompany agreements, administer demo units
  • Oversee and manage copyright levies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland including external audits, analyze other NBMC-cost (Services, WEEE, E&O)
  • Be stand-in for segment controller (including but not limited to weekly forecast preparation and submissions as well as ad-hoc analysis, ...)

Coordination of Finance Transformation:

  • Standardize finance processes, tools, and templates across business groups (PCSD, ISG, MBG)
  • Enhance automation and work efficiency
  • Improve internal processes between Profit Management and EPS Segment Controller
  • Coordinate and support automation of funding processes, streamline internal processes managed by the Finance team for better efficiency

Organization:

  • You will report to the CFO of the DACH-region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and will closely work with all members of the DACH Finance team as well as EMEA and Global central teams.

What you'll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent education
  • Experience of operating in a matrix structure
  • Finance experience particularly in a Sales and Marketing environment
  • Considerable experience of the annual reporting and planning cycles, financial controls and systems

Key Skills needed:

  • Ability to drive process change, being a team player, excellent planning and forecasting skills
  • Good understanding of finance systems (SAP) and reporting systems (Power BI)
  • Ability to influence, challenge and support both financial and non-financial managers, ability to prioritize workload, meeting tight deadlines
