Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Sr. Sales Account Executive who will focus on our NextWave Cloud Service Provider customers.
This experienced professional will:
• Sell Lenovo solutions to NextWave CSP clients coordinating design and build with Lenovo's NextWave CSP organization.
• Cover the North America sales territory and account engagements to ensure sufficient opportunities to meet and exceed quota targets
• Interact with the Channel and community to enhance Lenovo's visibility in NextWave CSP segment space
• Build and maintain relationships with decision makers and decision influencers in concert with key business partners
• Work closely with other Lenovo sales teams and product and support organizations to position Lenovo value, achieve revenue objectives and maintain customer satisfaction
• Be conversant in market and customer business requirements and trends for the CSP market, and maintain segment and competitive knowledge to ensure credibility with the ecosystem
• Educate customers on Lenovo's technology and develop a working knowledge of Lenovo's Data Center Infrastructure offerings
• Understand and effectively communicate the value of Lenovo solutions to customers within the Next Wave CSP market
• Competency to deliver technical updates and product roadmaps
• Develop long term sales pipeline and relationships to increase Lenovo's market share, and consistently updating and forecasting in the Lenovo business management systems
• Set direction for business development and solution replication.
• Sell complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis. May act as a dedicated resource to one or just a few strategic accounts.
• Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C-level by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
• Build executive relationships that establish Lenovo's consultative professionalism and promote its total capabilities
• Maintain expertise on typical budgets, objectives, measures, and metrics across the customer base.
Scope and Impact:
• Work on a specified number of accounts of greater strategic (long-term) value to Lenovo
• Significant percentage of time spent directly with customer interfaces with all levels.
• Direct time with customer's technical buyers as well as Procurement
Basic Requirements:
• A BS or BA degree.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of sales with server/data center products.
• Experience selling to Cloud Service Providers is highly preferred.
• Experience in the strategic selling of future and current technologies.
• Ability to create quarterly business plans and proficiency at forecasting.
• Strong ecosystem network of contacts
For California-based candidates, the base salary range budgeted for this position is $140,000-$185,000 (50% base + 50% variable split). Individuals may also be eligible for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's full range of benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
This is a remote role, with candidates expected to travel 20% of the time.
