Description and Requirements

Lenovo's NA Sales Organization is seeking a highly motivated North American PC Sales Leader to join its rapidly growing business. This leader will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and sales business North Americanly for Lenovo's PC portfolio. Lead the development and implementation of a clean-sheet simplified PC sales playbook from OI to quote to order including e2e offerings, tools, and sales resource roles and responsibilities. The Sales Leader will play a critical role in Lenovo's NA Organization by setting the strategic direction and sales vision for the organization based on market conditions, competitive positioning, North American roadmaps, and hardware provided in both the corporate, public sector markets and adjoining segments. This role will lead the premier team aligned to the Client Managers and have deep PC expertise across the total Lenovo PC Portfolio.

The North American PC Sales Leader will drive accelerated growth through their dedicated sales, enablement, and operations resources as well as collaboration with Lenovo's other sales organizations to deliver offerings to customers and the market. This role will also have financial responsibility for revenue and gross profit, and investment to develop the business to achieve aspirational targets across pc client devices. The PC sales leader will have ownership of the playbook on and define how targets are executed in market.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and Drive Revenue, Profit, PTM in NA fully utilizing the PC portfolio.
  • Inspire and motivate employees and colleagues to out-perform against targets
  • Have P&L ownership of financial responsibility to develop the business to achieve aspirational targets across client devices.
  • Build a high-performance team, attract, develop, organize, and retain top talent to achieve strategic growth
  • Understand and meet customer needs while balancing business objectives and fostering strong customer relationships
  • Align the goals of the organization around its vision and strategy while maintaining awareness of ever-changing business conditions that will require adjustments to corporate direction over time
  • Identify ways to differentiate, address unmet needs, and differentiate with an intent to disrupt. Build the GTM strategies
  • Champion understanding and focused efforts around continuous improvement methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus
  • Understanding of the NA market with strength in PC, Workstation, Adjacencies, and Smart Solutions.

  • Strong executive presence & leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Proven track record of evolving the organizational design to accommodate rapid North American growth.

  • Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
  • Experience working with North American teams and conducting business internationally
  • Commercializing innovative and breakthrough ideas to create superior value in the market
  • Demonstrate a maniacal focus on adding value to customer organizations, address pain points and needs by building high-quality solutions
  • Appreciates diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the organization to succeed

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and international working experience for North American company(s)
  • Demonstrated success in working with customers to resolve complex issues and develop solid business relationships
  • Willing to travel >50% of the time, engaging the market, Customers, Partners, and North American teams
  • Consistently demonstrates the highest levels of integrity

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $220-000-$250,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
