Description and Requirements

Job Description:

  • Assists in System Lead, Senior EE engineer to do design feasibility study and complete the design concept proposal.
  • Design hardware solutions for the platform and system.
  • Work with other hardware engineers or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions.
  • Conducts feasibility studies, design margin, validation analyses and empirical testing on the designs.
  • This role would apply developed subject matter knowledge to design, analyze, develop, modify and evaluate the key components of the platform, integrate sub-systems and firmware and hardware.
  • Ensure integrated circuitry based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
  • Cooperate with internal peer functions and outsourced design partners, to develop and implement parameters and test plans for the designs, including validation of hardware circuit quality/ robustness; mechanical tolerances/ assembly interference, form/fit/function, shock and vibration; electromagnetic interference; safety; reliability; thermal generation; and system power measurements and expected distribution.
  • Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used form prototype fabrication to production.
  • Executive of hardware related validation, bug tracking and trouble shooting.
