Description and Requirements

Distribution Account Manager (DAM)
The role of a Distribution Account Manager (DAM) at Lenovo is dynamic and multifaceted, offering a wide range of responsibilities that drive both distributor and Lenovo success. Daily tasks include:

Based in Sweden, you will join a team of five dedicated Distribution Account Managers who share your role and will provide support and camaraderie. The team reports to the Nordic DAM Manager, and you will collaborate closely with the local 4P team and the SMB & Channel Leader to drive growth and success in the Swedish market.

As a DAM at Lenovo, you will play a pivotal role in building trust and serving as a strategic advisor to distributors. Your work will directly influence both Lenovo's and distributor's P&L, requiring you to make impactful decisions that contribute to the success of the SMB business.

What You will do:

    • Strategic Planning: Allocating and optimizing marketing funds effectively to support business objectives.
    • Distributor Engagement: Organizing and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with distributors to align on goals and performance.
    • Relationship Management: Meeting distributors face-to-face to provide on-site support and foster strong partnerships.
    • Training Facilitation: Coordinating and delivering impactful product training sessions for distributor sales representatives.
    • Webshop Support: Enhancing distributor webshops with high-quality content and improved visibility.
    • Program Updates: Keeping distributors informed about the latest T1 program opportunities and how to leverage them.
    • Sales Incentives: Motivating distributor sales representatives to prioritize Lenovo products and campaigns through targeted incentives.
    • Sell-Through Initiatives: Planning and executing sell-through activities in collaboration with distributors.
    • Partner Development: Expanding and nurturing Lenovo's base of active business partners, achieving healthy channel breadth and attracting new partners.
    • Inventory Management: Driving sales of Topseller inventory and collaborating closely with distributors to manage stock levels effectively.
    • Proactive Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with the local 4P team to maintain a balanced inventory mix and prevent aged stock.
