Description and Requirements

The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is hiring for a Director of Category, Demand Planning & Inventory Management. This role will be responsible to build & lead a global highly technical demand planning organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, ISG COO and Strategy, this role's primary goal is to support the International Sales Organization (ISO) and the ISG to improve demand planning accuracy and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full people-management responsibilities for a team of demand planners
  • Accountable for their team's forecast accuracy, resources, and provides input on the organization's decision-making for both short- and long-term operational plans
  • Use research and analysis to predict consumer demand, manage inventory, and maximize revenue
  • Partner with sales and ISG business units to create and maintain demand forecasting models as an input into the GSC S&OP process
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities
  • Work with sales and supply chain managers to match supply with demand and identify and resolve inventory issues
  • Establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks for forecast accuracy to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis
  • Prepare and present forecast and inventory metrics to management teams
  • Review and improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to the business based on a significant depth of expertise

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant degree
  • 10+ years previous experience in supply chain

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing diverse and geographically dispersed employees
  • Previous experience in a planning role
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, including with cross-functional executives
  • Ability to quickly solve ambiguous problems with limited data by utilizing analytic skills and judgment gained during prior experiences
  • Requires strategic agility, business acumen, and functional expertise to resolve problems of highly complex nature
