Description and Requirements
As a Deal Desk Analyst in our Solutions & Services Group, you will support our sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to govern sales processes and execute complex deals. Your key responsibility is to ensure process adherence through strong analysis and insights from pre-qualification to delivery handover. Success in this role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, attention to detail, and experience in a pre-sales bid and proposal environment.
Responsibilities
Deal Triage & Pre-Qualification
- Review and ensure data accuracy for incoming deals during pre-qualification.
- Route deals to relevant teams for further qualification and assessment.
Deal Governance
- Advocate and ensure adherence to governance structures across all sales motions.
- Develop and maintain Deal Desk tools and templates.
- Schedule and manage all gate reviews throughout the deal flow.
- Maintain a compliant deal approval process.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and drive improvements.
Pipeline Analysis & Insights
- Generate and analyze metrics, reports, and dashboards on deal performance.
- Monitor and track pipeline, win/loss ratios, revenue split, and other KPIs.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
Utilization Monitoring
- Support project setup in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for resource assignment and time tracking.
- Facilitate regular board reviews for pipeline and staffing levels.
- Enable regular utilization and bid budget performance reporting.
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in IT and business.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience in deal desk, sales operations, or a related role within a services organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Codata.
- Experience in bid and proposal management; APMP Foundation Certification is an advantage.
