Description and Requirements
As a DCSC modeler, you will be responsible for Lenovo ISG hardware products rule enablement and life cycle management, including CTO variant rule, derive rule, conflict rule, new engine load sheet for multi-product rule, and Lenovo configurator message related rule based on business required, ensure the product rule and data get appropriately managed and processed in Lenovo end-to-end sales feasibility to manufacturing systems including Lenovo sales configurator, mfg configurator, product mast data system and sales feasibility proceeding, and responsible for rule requirement documentation (T3 and TX) enablement and life cycle management. You will resolve the product rule issue within time-to-close targets to assure customer experience as business required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Product rule requirement (TRD, AVL, Solution Template, CRD) analysis and collection for the preparation for product rule writing.
- Interlock with product rule requirement owner/function team for the requirement clarification and understanding if needed.
- CAR content providing and CAR submitting execution supporting.
- Linkage of CTO, Characters and feature groups creation and maintaining.
- Product CTO rule writing with regular load sheet format, including variant rule, derive rule, conflict rule, new engine load sheet for multi-product rule, Lenovo configurator message related rule and other rules as business needed.
- Operation in product master data system(ELOIS) to release product rule and life cycle updates with EC proceeding.
- Implementation of unit test for product rules in simulation environment to ensure the accuracy.
- Guide users in system access & navigation, deal registrations, bids, and partner registration, Solving issues from opportunity through quote to contract.
- Resolve internal and external rule modeling defect in cases within time-to-close targets.
- Cowork with peers function team including ODT, DPM, DT/IT for customer request/help needed support in case business required.
- Problem-solving and dealing with internal and external peers team.
Position Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar role is an advantage
- Fluent English
- Familiar with X86 Server product structure knowledge.
- Experience of product data life cycle management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross function team and cross geo site.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload under the potential work task peak.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- VBA or automation script programming is preferred.
- Knowledge of other systems (Windchill, PLM, etc.) is an advantage.
Base gross monthly salary starts from 2100 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also a variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
You will report to the ISG Product Release Operations Team.
