Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement processes and solutions for Internal Audit and related Governance functions employing visualization tools such as Power BI to develop dashboards and vantage points into business processes using a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining and analysis to enable informed business decisions
  • Gain insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.
  • Use current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via an increasing understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.


  • Collaborate with audit teams to identify audit objectives, risks, and opportunities for data analysis or data science application.
  • Collect, cleanse, and validate large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Support the development and maintenance of audit data analytics tools, dashboards, templates, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in data analytics or a related field
  • Experience using big data using SQL, Python, Power BI, etc to derive business insights from complex data sets, and who can communicate complex data models to key stakeholders.


  • Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques

Preferred Qualifications:



Knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and banking industry best practices is a plus.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical auditors.
