Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Review and Management:
    • Review and assess the compliance of all Lenovo public sector contracts with contract, legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Periodically audit Lenovo's centralized repository for all contracts, ensuring contract files are organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
    • Conduct contract specific audits to ensure compliance to contract specific requirements.
  • Compliance Program Development:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive contract compliance program.
    • Create and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Audits and Monitoring:
    • Conduct regular audits of contract management and compliance processes to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
    • Monitor ongoing contracts for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Lenovo policies.
  • Training and Education:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on contract compliance and related legal issues.
    • Provide guidance and support to departments and senior management on compliance matters.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
    • Identify and escalate compliance issues and breaches in a timely manner.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present reports on compliance activities, audit findings, and risk assessments to senior management.
    • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training sessions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure comprehensive contract compliance.
    • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, compliance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
